Eskenzi PR and Infosecurity Europe are each celebrating their 30th birthdays this year, so in this special blog, the Eskenzi team celebrates by taking a look back over the past three decades and forward towards the next event. Infosecurity Europe is taking place at London ExCel until June 5.
Infosecurity is in Eskenzi’s blood. Back in 1995, Yvonne Eskenzi, Co-Founder of Eskenzi PR, helped launch the show that would go on to be a pillar of the UK cyber calendar. Since then, the show has grown more and more, moving from Olympia to Earls Court to its current home at ExCeL London. Of course, during that time, there was also a pandemic, which forced the event to relocate to the digital realm, a completely different exhibition experience. Like most things, the events industry adapted and is now back and bigger than ever.
Topics of focus: From AI to Antivirus
Like the industry in general, the show has shapeshifted over the years, with keynote presentations, panel discussions and vendor focus moving from show to show. The key themes have naturally transformed in line with the most pressing threats and geopolitical tensions too. Arguably, not many industries have seen so much change. During the past 30 years we’ve seen social engineering, crypto and IoT hot on the lips of security professionals at the show, with current topics du jour including zero-trust, agentic AI and artificial intelligence.
At this year’s show, several of our clients have speaking slots, covering everything from managing human risk to quantum computing. If you’re at the show, you might want to have a listen!

Networking, networking, networking!
Once a year, thousands of cybersecurity professionals from across the globe flock to London to congregate at the ExCeL Centre to discuss and share ideas, showcase innovations and, most importantly, catch up. Without sounding too cliché, in today’s digital world (haha), where so much of our work takes place over the internet, it’s not often that we get to see clients and industry friends IRL, as they say. Infosecurity Europe is an opportune place for such face to face meetings.
Whether you grab a coffee in the concourse or head to an after hours event, there are plenty of spaces to catch up with new and old connections. The sheer volume of events can be overwhelming though. Not sure which events to attend? The Eskenzi team have sifted through them to highlight the hottest events in the calendar!

What are we most excited about?
In May, we welcomed two interns to the Eskenzi team, Peyton Mann and @Kelsey (more on that later). With a keen eye for social media and a natural aptitude for PR, we tasked them to delve into our long-standing relationship with the show and come up with a plan for socials to celebrate. Not a small task, but they stepped up to the plate with ease!
As part of that plan, they interviewed the current Eskenzi team about our experiences of Infosec over the past decade or so and what we’re most looking forward to at this year’s show. From Charley Nash’s dream of visiting the Sunborn yacht to buzz around the European Cybersecurity Blogger Awards, you can read more on the Eskenzi blog.
Coffee, anyone?
Like many, we are down to ExCeL, ready to work the show floor. We’re a mostly caffeinated bunch and love coffee, so do let us know if you fancy a drink and a catch up about all things cyber, PR and events. Drop us a DM or email eskenzi@eskenzipr.com for more information!
